Manager - Plating - Possehl Electronics - Melaka

Responsibilities:
To manage plating manufacturing operations such as optimizing yield, reducing cost and defect and adherence to environmental health and safety procedures
To assess and improve the plating process, consumables, equipment sets and processing techniques ensuing in superior substrate technology, quality and cost leadership
To communicate and lead internal team in plating both process and equipment) in solving day to day production issues
To initiate development of new plating processes
To ensure processes and customer orders are delivered to plan.
To deal with suppliers for new and advanced plating chemical development.
To invent and execute experiments, analyze and report findings, recommendations and strategize feasible action
To ensure KPI’s is being work out in line with company’s mission and vision

Requirements:
Degree in Chemistry/Mechatronic Engineering/Material Science or other related disciplines
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in high volume leadframe manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of DOE, 6 Sigma or similar would be preferred.
Experience in electro and electroless plating processes
Knowledge in statistical process control and automation system is added advantages.
Proactive, self-starter, highly motivated, team player and takes ownership.
A result-oriented person with excellent drive, initiative and ability to work under tight deadlines.
