The Job:
Lead the establishment of Road Freight (domestic & cross-border) as a new product for DGF in MY. Develop and implement the road freight transportation strategy for MY in line with DGF’s overall regional strategy.
Actively seek and support the development of new business opportunities and ensure that DGF’s road freight business grows in scale and complexity to meet our customer’s requirements.
Further improve the Road Freight Operating Model into the direction of creating an Intermodel Service Offering Operating Model for MY/SG and TH.
Support and guide initiatives to create a focused sector strategy within the road freight sector as well as for DGF’s core products AFR and OFR.
The Person:
Degree or equivalent highly preferred; multi-lingual is a plus
7-10 years experience in the business strategy/ planning and/or consulting in the area of restructuring
Strong financial background
At least 2 years working experience in Asia
Strong project management skills from idea creation to implementations
High customer focus/ orientation
Strong understanding of strategic marketing concepts and tools to support the business development
