Logistic Manag - DREAMGATE CORPORATION - Penang

Responsibilities:
To provide solutions management for the Company by ensuring that the customers’ requirements are meet at the highest level of productivity and at the lowest acceptable cost.
Initiate and manage improvement and development plan to enhance the overall Logistics Department’s performance and profitability of the solution for the Company.
Ensure timely distribution of performance reports / quotes analysis report etc to the respective parties involved.
To establish good rapport with the Customs and other government regulatory department in order to enhance Company’s logistics activities.
To comply with all internal procedures and Customs regulations.
To ensure all required custom applications are complied for import and export of all shipping related activities.
Manage and maintain validity of supporting documents and license(s) for (different countries) customs declarations.
Handle and manage any escalation issue(s) arises from distribution / supply chain breakdown.
Identify, register and escalate service performance issues to the service providers (freight vendors) in order to resolve issues within the agreed timeframes.
Measures performance and manage the overall performance of all individual service providers for their services and cost effectiveness.
Responsible for managing the inventory of the Company’s products /shipments are maintain properly and in order.
To ensure all assignments are met within specified deadlines provided.
To ensure prompt and proper follow-up on all outstanding issues or matters.
To manage departmental budget and manpower planning/sizing.
Manage employees’ performance to ensure their performance is up to require expectations. To provide employees with guidance, counseling, training and ensuring that their are kept informed on any changes to the existing work procedures.
Responsible for employees’ well-being and disciplinary matters of all employees under his/her supervision.

Requirements:
Degree Holder with at least 3-4 year’s experience in Logistic, Freight, Supply Chain Management.
Familiar with International rules and regulations on shipping, good connection with major shipping line/forwarder and well verse in all shipping documents
Possess good knowledge of domestics and export markets and familiar with local custom’s requirements and shipping arrangements and local government bodies,
