Responsibilities:
Establish system management criteria, policy and implement high availability IP-networking and server systems such as MS-Windows Server and UNIX
Plan and implement system monitoring and network management system in the Network Operation Center
Perform design and configuration of network and server monitoring for collection of relevant performance data
Responsible for implementing security solutions and enforcing data center network security policies
Define and implement disaster recovery program for the entire server and network system
Define and configure schedule events for system administration and backup procedures
Provide system and network performance tuning and monitoring
Troubleshoot server/web farms and network operations system
Analyse server performance data and identify all sources of problems and recommend course of action to increase performance
Implement and exercise disaster recovery program for the entire systems
Ensure all the incoming support calls are answer with professional (always response with time lines.)
Provide post sales technical support (on-site and off-site) for partners and end customers. Post sales tasks include project and project implementation, product trainings, on-site maintenance support.
Able to troubleshoot customers’ problems and escalate the problem to the vendor soonest possible and update customer regularly with the outcomes.
Provide briefing and training to internal staffs and to channel partners.
Requirements:
At least 2-year in-depth experience in UNIX/Windows Operating Systems, database systems and server/network management systems.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Preferred skill(s): CCNA, MCSA, MCSE.
To perform in planning, deploying, monitoring all servers and related systems procedures
Working knowledge in installing and maintaining hardware, software and network such as structured cabling, IP layer3-switch, router, firewall, etc. and experience in UNIX services or MS-Windows Server, DNS, FTP, DHCP, Web Service, SMTP, POP, etc.
Skill in implementation/operation of Unix-based WWW/Intranet solutions HTML, XML, JAVA, etc.
Must be able to work under pressure
