Coordinates all production functions to insure that customers delivery and quality requirements are met accordance with the policies, practices and procedures of the company
Monitors, reports on, and develops and implement programs for key aspects of his area of responsibility including on-time delivery, product defect rate, production units per man-hour, expense to sales ratio, safety performance, overall production matters.
Leads the teams in continuous improvement in manufacturing and business processes to insure constantly improving levels of product quality, process capability and customer satisfaction.
Formulate, recommend and implement manufacturing or production policies and programs that are in line with overall business plans
Responsible for the engineering, commissioning, execution for the new plant.
Supervise and instruct contractor engineers, coordinate with project manager and consultant
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or or professional qualification in Steel manufacturing.
Min 10 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing environment. Experience in Oil and Gas will be added advantages.
Able to work independently and lead change
