JOB OCTIVES / SUMMARY
Incumbent is responsible to conduct regular inventory analysis of global stock requirement and provide recommendation to management. To ensure good control of stock requirement at optimum level as to meet customer needs. Manage 3PL performances and achieved departmental targets and KPI’s. Support superior in day to day operation to ensure entire inventory management performance meeting or exceeding the targeted service level.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To assist the Manager in formulating, implementing and enforcing procedures on Inventory Management in order to maintain optimum stock to support customer needs.
• To conduct monthly / quarterly inventory analysis and provide recommendation (such as min/max stock level, face in/out of inventories for hubs, consignment analysis, scrap execution, write off proposal, obsoletion etc) to management.
• To achieve service level with lowest inventory level
• Create action plan to reduce inventory target
• To liase with colleagues, peers, supply chain to ensure task executed according to procedure and achieve plan target.
• To ensure all transactions are update and documents are maintained in an orderly manner.
• To conduct quarterly or annual inventory stock take for all inventory sites and close re-conciliation within the stipulated time frame.
• Manage 3PL provider e.g. performances, compliances, cost negotiations, improvements, yearly audit and review.
• Timely submission of monthly report’s and KPI’s
• To perform duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma / Degree holder preferably in Inventory Management
Minimum 3-5 years experience in Inventory Planning
Expert in Excel, Pivot Table, Access, ERP system etc
Posses good interpersonal, supervisory and leadership skills.
Good communication in oral and written in English & B. Malaysia with Mandarin
and Chinese dialect would be advantages.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Good knowledge of PC, Excel, Pivot Table, Access, ERP system
Applicants must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
